This product is a single vial holding two synthetic peptides, BPC-157 and TB-500, with 10 mg of peptide in total. Neither peptide is approved by FDA as a drug and no approved product pairs them; the vial is offered solely as a laboratory research material.

## Composition of the vial

The vial contains BPC-157 and TB-500, 10 mg in total. This page does not state how the 10 mg divides between them, and the split for each lot should be read from its certificate of analysis. The two components are:

- **BPC-157**, a 15-residue peptide (GEPPPGKPADDAGLV) of 1419.5 g/mol, described in the separate BPC-157 article.
- **TB-500**, whose identity is explained in the separate TB-500 article. Products sold online under the name have been described as containing either the acetylated fragment Ac-LKKTETQ or full-length thymosin beta-4 [1], so the certificate should name the molecule.

Because the masses differ, an equal split by weight is not an equal split by number of molecules. One milligram is about 0.70 micromoles of BPC-157. For the TB-500 component it is about 1.12 micromoles if it is the fragment (889.0 g/mol) or 0.20 micromoles if it is full-length thymosin beta-4 (4,963 g/mol). A researcher planning molar ratios needs both the per-component milligrams and the identity of the TB-500 component.

## How a two-peptide vial is analysed

A mixture cannot be described by one purity figure the way a single peptide can. The HPLC chromatogram shows two main peaks, one per component, plus the impurities of each. Peak areas do not translate directly into milligrams, because peptides of different length and composition absorb ultraviolet light differently. Each component therefore has to be quantified against its own reference standard. Mass spectrometry distinguishes the two easily. BPC-157 gives ions near m/z 1419.7 and 710.4, while Ac-LKKTETQ gives ions near m/z 889.5 and 445.3; full-length thymosin beta-4 gives multiply charged ions that deconvolute to about 4,963. Anti-doping science shows that both peptides can be handled within one analytical scope. A 2026 doping-control workflow for blood samples was validated for 54 prohibited compounds, and its stability tests named both BPC-157 and TB500 [2]. That method detects traces in biological samples. It is not an assay of a product vial, but it shows the two peptides can be measured side by side by liquid chromatography with high-resolution mass spectrometry.

## Published research on the combination

Little has been published on BPC-157 and TB-500 together, and nothing on a premixed vial. A PubMed search on October 3, 2026, for BPC-157 together with thymosin or TB-500 terms returned 13 records. That search found no controlled human study of the pair. Most of the records are review articles on peptide therapies, and one is the doping-control method described above [2]. None of the 13 abstracts describes a premixed product, so the analytical and stability questions on this page are not answered by any published study. Research on each peptide on its own is summarised in the BPC-157 and TB-500 articles.

## Regulatory status

No FDA-approved drug contains BPC-157, TB-500 or the two together. Both peptides appeared on the July 23, 2026 agenda of FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee, in a review of candidates for the section 503A bulks list. FDA's briefing documents for that meeting evaluate each peptide separately. By October 3, 2026, FDA had posted neither minutes nor a decision. The vial is sold as a laboratory research material and is not a medicine.

## What is not known

Several basic facts about this kind of product are open. The per-component amounts in this product are to be confirmed from each lot's certificate. Which molecule the TB-500 component is must also be confirmed, since products under the name have been described inconsistently [1]. No published study has examined whether BPC-157 and TB-500 change each other's stability when stored together as a dry powder or in solution. The dated PubMed search found no study of a premixed vial, so the shelf life of the mixture rests on the supplier's statement for each lot. That search also found no controlled human study of the two together.

## Quality testing for this blend

A certificate for this vial should report each peptide separately. That means identity of each component by mass spectrometry, with BPC-157 near 1419.7 and the TB-500 component at the mass of whichever molecule is present. It should also give the content of each component in milligrams, measured against its own standard, and an HPLC trace in which the two main peaks are resolved. Impurities should be assigned to their parent peptide where possible; LC-MS is the usual tool for characterising impurities that arise from the starting materials, manufacture and storage of synthetic peptides [3]. Counterion content, typically acetate or trifluoroacetate, and water should be stated, since they add to the labelled mass. A single combined purity percentage with no per-component content does not show what the vial holds. Batch results belong on each lot's certificate, not in this article.

## Questions

### How much of each peptide is in the 10 mg vial?

This article does not state the split. The certificate of analysis for each lot should report BPC-157 and TB-500 content separately, measured against reference standards for each peptide.

### Is there research on BPC-157 and TB-500 used together?

A PubMed search on October 3, 2026 found no controlled human study of the pair and no study of a premixed vial. The records it returned are mostly reviews.

### Why can't one purity figure describe this vial?

Two peptides give two main HPLC peaks, and their UV responses differ, so peak areas do not convert directly into milligrams. Each component's content has to be measured against its own reference standard.
